This week I’m taking you to a beautiful tea room in Paris! Nina’s is a quaint little shop located just steps away from Place Vendome. Nina’s sells a selection of teas, cakes, and lovely little gifts that you can enjoy in the tea salon or take home with you. All of the tasty teas and treats that they carry are inspired by Marie Antoinette. In fact, they told me that their tea is actually infused with rose petals that they extracted straight from the gardens at Versaille, which just adds so much more to the experience, wouldn’t you agree? So, let’s talk about the edit! You probably took one look at these photos and guessed that we brought in extra lighting for the shoot. Well, you would be wrong. It’s all thanks to editing (as so many things are). So how did I get this bright look in Lightroom you ask? Simple! It all starts with Chic Lightroom Presets! The Complete Collection and many of the other Chic Lightroom Collections contain something that I like to call “Finishing Presets.” For this shoot, I selected the “Bright” Finish Preset and the “Lighting-Auto” Preset to start. The combination of the two presets got me almost to where I wanted right off the bat. After that, I came in with some of my Basic Paint Brushes from The Brush Collection and brighten up any areas that needed some extra attention. I finished off the photos with some of my Makeup Lightroom Brushes for a soft/subtle look. There’s a dramatic before & after photo below that shows you what the shot looked like before it was edited with Chic Lightroom Presets so don’t miss it! Now, let’s enjoy a little tea, shall we?
