A Simple Winter Edit | Chic Lightroom Presets

I will admit, I’m not the biggest fan of this season. I was never one of those women who enjoyed the cold. In fact, I love to avoid it at all costs, but this year I’m going to do my best to embrace this thing that we call winter. I even have a few winter-themed shoots lined up starting with this simple café edit. As the days get colder and the nights get longer, I find myself clinging to the very few things that are keeping me happy during this time of year such as warm frothy drinks, buttery pastries, simple outfits, candlelight, and a decidedly more relaxed outlook on life. Early morning café visits like this one keep me smiling through the cold. For the edit, I was just going for something super simple, a little kick if you will. I used the “Vogue” Lightroom preset from The Wedding Collection. It balances out your basic settings, adds a small tone curve, a hint of split toning and few other fancy bells and whistles that I’ve thrown in there. I also came in afterward and cleaned up a few spots with my Lightroom Brushes from The Brush Collection. Check out the before & after photo below! Happy winter everyone, stay warm!
