Creative Edit: Chic Vintage Presets

Good morning everyone! It’s Sunday and today I’ll be sharing one of my creative edits with you! All of the photos you will see today are edited with CHIC Lightroom Presets from The Vintage Collection. Yes, today I’ll be taking you with me as I spend a lovely afternoon in the city. Well, my day started at the flower market. There is a charming flower shop that I just discovered on the corner of one of the bustling little streets downtown. That day I decided to go in for a closer look with my camera in tow. I found gorgeous white orchids, local ranunculus and the beautiful pink roses that you will see throughout the post today. I plan to share a follow up post with the photos from the flower shop later in the week so stay tuned! After I had photographed all of the beautiful fresh blooms, I continued on in search of architecture. I braved the crisp February air and came upon this gorgeous building with Juliet balconies, and decorative moldings. I started to photograph the building from different angles. I noticed that other people began to take an interest in what I was doing and a small crowd of on-lookers started to form. As they regarded me in amusement one of them exclaimed “Don’t mind us…we just love photography!” My thoughts exactly! It’s wonderful how photographs can bring people together. With that, I flashed them a bright smile, gave them a nod and continued snapping away. As I continued on down the street, I was drawn to the colorful window of a candy shop. I took a few snaps outside before deciding to go in. When I walked in, I was delighted to see all of the delicious treats for sale. It was as if I had stepped on to the set of Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory! The aroma of Peanut brittle, cotton candy and decadent chocolate lingered in the air…sigh! It was difficult to leave such a wonderful place. At this point I was craving caffeine and found a wonderful little café for a quick cappuccino. As I sipped my frothy drink I found myself dreaming of my chic presets and how I would use them to edit the body of photographs I had collected that day. After some pensive deliberation, I was inspired by the cafe and architecture to take my editing process in a vintage direction.
