Inspire Me Fridays: Quote

Happy Friday everyone! I created this quote in Photoshop for the post today. “Live the life you’ve imagined.” Sounds simple, right? I think we all hit a point in our lives where we start to reflect on what we’ve already accomplished and what we have yet to achieve, (or even attempt). For some, this point of reflection comes early, maybe in your 20’s or 30’s. For others, it comes later in life, maybe after your children have grown up and left the house. Rest assure, at some point you will stand back…take a good look in the mirror…and evaluate whether or not you lived the life that you imagined for yourself. Some of you will look in the mirror and celebrate! You went after your dreams and created a life that you’re proud of! Others may look in the mirror and realize that they have been going down the wrong path. A path that is not true to their authentic self. I tend to live my life based on a carefully crafted set of rules. These “rules” are based on the accumulation of my own life experiences, the trials and tribulations of others and lessons that I’ve picked up along the way. These rules are always changing and evolving as I gain more experiences and I’m previewed to the wisdom of people around me. One of the lessons I have learned in recent years is this: in the end, we only regret the chances that we didn’t take. To me, this is a very powerful message…one that is screaming…Take a chance! I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of 4 little words. These 4 words have the power to change your life for the better. It’s-never-too-late. Honestly, it’s that simple! It’s never too late to take a chance and try something new. That will mean something different for all of us. Maybe that means trying out a new hobby, or finally taking that dream vacation. Maybe it means standing up for yourself and finally telling someone how you really feel. Or maybe it’s something big like making a career change or moving somewhere new. Whatever it is for you, it’s never too late to start living the life that you’ve imagined…
